Martin L Tozer, Jr., 83, of Enola passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025 at Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, PA. after an unexpected battle with cancer. Born in Philadelphia, PA. on Thursday, October 30, 1941, he was the son of the late Rev. Dr. Martin L. Tozer, Sr., and the late Erma Boltz Tozer.
Growing up, Martin was a Boy Scout and an Acolyte. He graduated from Camp Hill High School in 1960 then attended Newberry College in Newberry, South Carolina where he graduated in 1965 with a degree in Religious Education and a minor in Psychology.
Martin was a fanatic for all his Philly sports teams especially the Phillies and the Eagles. He enjoyed bowling and attending Camp Hill High School sports. He was an avid sun bather and beach lover like his sister, especially at the Jersey Shore. He always had a joke to make you laugh and got great joy from sending the funniest greeting cards he could find. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Camp Hill, PA.
After college Martin worked for a year in Baltimore as a parish worker with young people, then Bethlehem Steel for 10 years, Ryder Truck Rental, EDS (Hewlett-Packard), as a night receptionist for Trinity Lutheran Church for 10 years, Pealer's Flowers for 36 years and most recently Royer's Flowers for close to 8 years. He truly enjoyed his coworkers and working at Royer's.
Along with his parents, Martin was predeceased by his Stepmother, Mary A. Tozer and his sister Louise T. Martlew. He is survived by his nieces, Elizabeth (Liz) Boyer and husband Edward (Ed) of Dillsburg, PA and Julianne Bishard and husband John (Ben) of Mechanicsburg, PA., his great niece Autumn Bishard Lopez and husband Justin of Orlando, FL. and great nephew, Maxwell (Max) Boyer of Dillsburg, PA.
