Martina Annette Perkinson life began on November 29, 1968 and ended suddenly on March 25, 2025 in Cartersville GA at Piedmont Cartersville. From an early age, she embraced her faith as a member of Damascus Baptist Church later joining her parents at Second Baptist Church in Summerville, soon returning back to Damascus. She held true values of family in high regard, proudly honoring her Perkinson tradition and Emerson education.
She graduated from Cass High School. After her graduation, she began working with her mother creating special moments for weddings and helping around the house or putting hours in at work. Tina as we called her, found joy in journaling and was passionate about watching Chicago PD and Chicago Fire. Don't you dare interrupt her time watching her favorite shows. She loved long walks to reflect on life adventures and to free her soul as she enjoyed the beauty of nature. Tina loved pink finger nail polish, perfume and jewelry. Prissy was she.
She absolutely loved spending time with her family, laughing and eating, leaving nothing on her plate. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love and strength a lasting impact on all who crossed her path. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of special people who were dear to her, who lives will forever be a memory stamped in their hearts.
She was affectionately known as a shining light to her nephews and niece. NO matter what she always cared and supported them. They were the joy in her life and constant source of love.
Remember her not for the way her life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound effect it had on the lives of her aunts, uncle and cousin who had the pleasure of caring for her when her parents left this earth.
Tina was sent to her eternal home joining her beloved parents the late Reverend Willie Howard and Charlene Perkinson.
Tina is survived by her sister Sierra Glenn. Her nephews: Jaylen Bentley and niece, Ivy who she cherished dearly. She also leaves behind aunts and uncles who adored her dearly. Among them are Frances Brown, Herbert (Lenora), Barbara Fowler, Evelena Linley, Nathaniel and Linda Ann Perkinson and Doris Shaw, and a host of cousins and friends who shared in her joyful spirit.
