Marty C. Morris

Marty C. Morris, of Excelsior died on Sunday, July 7th, at eighty-six years old. Marty loved spending time with friends and family, had a great sense of humor, and was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. He enjoyed riding his Harley. Marty had a career as an operating engineer in the local 49 union for over 30 years and was proud to be a 49er. He retired at sixty-two and then enjoyed traveling with his beloved wife, Collette. Marty is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Collette, and his two daughters, Colleen Voss (Myron) and Cara Blake (Steve). Marty is preceded in death by his son Charlie, sister Joan, brother Larry, and his parents Tom and Odelia. Marty was a veteran and will be laid to rest at Fort Snelling. To honor Marty's wishes there will be no funeral service. We would be honored if you please celebrate Marty's memory in your way. Marty will be greatly missed by many! We know that he will be with us all in spirit.
