Marveline Gullatt, affectionately known as "Mamaw," went home to be with the Lord on October 2, 2025, at the age of 96. Born on December 3, 1928, in Lanett, Alabama, Marveline lived a long and beautiful life devoted to her faith, her family, and the many people blessed to know her.

On February 19, 1946, she married the love of her life, James "Hamp" Gullatt. The following year, they settled in Pensacola, Florida, where they established their home and raised their three children. Together, they built a family legacy rooted in love and faith.

A lifelong member of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church, Marveline's life reflected her deep faith. She worked faithfully for nearly 30 years at Gayfers before retiring. To her family and friends, she was the heart that brought everyone together-her love, warmth, and devotion will be cherished forever.

Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice in knowing she is now reunited in her heavenly home, celebrating a joyful reunion with her loved ones who went before her. Until we see her again, we will carry her love with us always.

Marveline was preceded in death by her parents, Henry E. and Pearl D. Bailey; her husband, James "Hamp" Gullatt; her brother, Joe Bailey; her sister, Jerry Bailey Wortham; and her daughter-in-law, Jackalyn "Jackie" Gullatt. She is survived by her three children, Linda Salter, James "Bubba" Gullatt, and Jeffery Gullatt; seven grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Wednesday, October 8th at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Ron Lentine officiating. Visitation will be at 12:00 p.m. until service time.

Pallbearers will be her seven grandchildren: Christopher "Chris" Salter, Tracy Hausfeld, Amy Salter, Jason Gullatt, James "Brian" Gullatt, Kelly Dujmovic, and Clayton "Clay" Gullatt.

In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made to VITAS Hospice Community Connection.
