Mr. Kenneth Fred Gullatt, age 68, of Franklin passed away September 14, 2024.
His memorial service will be held Sunday October 20, 2024 at 2:00 PM at New Springs Methodist Church with Bro. Wes Noles officiating.
Mr. Gullatt was born December 22, 1955 in Etowah County, AL to the late Fred Gullatt and Mary Rachael Hall Gullatt. He was a Christian by faith and retired from Georgia Power, where he worked in maintenance.
Family was at the center of his life. He was married to Susan for 36 years until her passing in 2015. He loved spending time with his son, Travis, and was dedicated to his care. An outdoorsman at heart, he enjoyed spending time at the gun range and going hunting and fishing.
Survivors include: two children, Travis Gullatt of Franklin and Tara Gullatt Schultz (Jim) of Birmingham, AL; one step-daughter, Kelli Daniell Fortner (Donnie) of Wedowee; daughter-in-law, Tammy Walker; grandchildren: Lauren Davis, Lacey Walker, Anna Kate Schultz, Jennifer Daniell, Zachary Daniell, Tyler Levens (Kelsey), and Connor Adams; great-grandchildren: Jaxson, Kenslie, Kinley, Kameron, Brooklyn, Lexi, Corbitt, and Colston; one brother, Steve Gullatt; his two best friends and their spouses, Wes and Sherrie Noles and Ted and Carla Vogelsburg; and a number of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Nix Gullatt; a brother, Glenn Gullatt; and two step-sons, Kenny Daniell and Corbet Daniel.
