Marvin D Condra

Marvin D. Condra, age 93, of Unionville, Missouri, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Golden Age Care Center in Centerville.
Marvin was born on September 4, 1931 in Centerville, Iowa, the son of Byron and Edith (Schwarzenbach) Condra. He graduated from Seymour High School with the Class of 1948. On August 25, 1950, Marvin was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart, Marilyn Teater in Centerville, Iowa.
In 1957, the family moved to Des Moines, Iowa to live on a dairy farm. Then in 1959, the family moved to Numa, Iowa, then on to Layton, Utah in 1963. The final move was to Unionville, Missouri in 1988. A total of 15 trips were made to move their belongings and 28 head of Arabian horses.
Marvin was a truck driver for many years, driving all across the United States. He was subsequently was a farmer, raising horses and cows. He was also a Case tractor collector. In his free time, Marvin was a proud member of the Masons/Odd Fellows, finding fellowship and brotherhood with the fraternity.
Left to honor Marvin's memory are his daughter, Jaynee (Randy) Morehead and; five grandchildren, Aimee 'Pepper' Condra, Dominic (Amanda) Condra, Caessie (Charley) Henderson, Jeff (Amber) Benink and Jennifer Benink; eleven great-grandchildren, Jhenon, Pahri, Karlee, Brooklyn, Carson, Carter, Kennedy, Abigayle, Austin, Chloe, Makayla and Dylan; three great-great grandchildren; as well as several extended family members and friends.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Byron and Edith Condra; his wife, Mariilyn Condra; and a son, Daniel J Condra on February 2, 2011.
Per Marvin's wishes, cremation has been accorded. A Celebration of life service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 at the Seymour Community Center from 5:30 until 7:30. A private burial will be held at the Southlawn Cemetery in Seymour, Iowa at a later date.
