Mesquite, Nevada - Marvin Henry Dielmann, age 90, died Saturday, January 29, 2022 in Mesquite, Nevada. He was born January 23, 1932 in Springfield, Missouri to Alvin and Lillian Dielmann. On May 24, 1954 he married Mary Esther Bodine in Kirkwood, Missouri. She preceded him in death on March 31, 2003.

Marvin grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. He served in the US Navy in the early 50's. He lived in California for a few years before settling in Las Vegas where he raised his family working for the Greyhound Bus Lines. He retired from Greyhound in 1990 in Salt Lake City and migrated south to Mesquite, NV in the mid 90's. He was always a handyman and enjoyed remodeling every home he lived in. He enjoyed time with his family, fishing, golfing and loved dogs. He will be truly missed by all his family and his friends.

Survivors include his companion, Gayle Gaffney(for the last 16 years); his two sons, Dwight and Michele Dielmann of Henderson, NV; David and Dawn Dielmann of Salt Lake City, UT; one grandson, Josh Dielmann and one great grandson, Taylor Dielmann of Salt Lake City, UT.
