Marvin Kramer Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Dale Woodward Funeral Homes and Cremation Services - Daytona Beach on Dec. 19, 2025.
Marvin Albert Kramer, born January 31, 1953, in Des Moines, Iowa, passed away on December 16, 2025, in Daytona Beach, Florida, with his wife and two children by his side.
Born to Charles Kramer and Blanche Mae Albert, Marvin grew up in Des Moines as the youngest of four children, alongside his siblings Sam, David, and Ellen. He spent most of his young adult life in Des Moines before briefly moving to Minneapolis, and later to Miami, Florida.
While living in Miami, Marvin met Dora Kramer, with whom he had two sons, John and Jeffrey. Together, they raised their children in Iowa before later divorcing. Marvin and Dora then returned to Florida, where they continued to co-parent their children.
Marvin later met his second wife, Krista Kramer, née Jenson. They moved to Eau Claire, Wisconsin, where they lived together for 18 years. After Marvin's retirement, following more than 30 years as a dedicated Walmart associate, they returned to Florida so he could be closer to his children and grandchildren, who were among his greatest joys.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Krista Kramer, who was by his side throughout his final hospital stay; his two sons, John and Jeffrey; and his three grandchildren, Gregory (8), Clementine (4), and Joy (1).
He was well known for his sense of humor and his love of music and movies, especially the Beatles. His goofy personality, laughter, and inquisitive nature are what will truly be missed by those who knew him.
He is deeply missed by his family, who ask all to pray to Almighty God for mercy upon him and comfort for those who loved him.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Word on Fire Catholic Ministries.
