Marvin W. Shepherd (Known by friends as Turk) age 69 of Willard, Ohio passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at FTMC in Nowalk, Ohio while surrounded by family.
He was born on November 24, 1955 in Willard, Ohio to the late Arthur and Nancy (Bolen) Shepherd.
Marvin worked at R&R Donelly and Son (currently known as Lakeside Press) in Willard, Ohio for over 45 years.
Marvin loved the outdoors, working on small engines, and creating one-of-a-kind inventions. He was known as a great storyteller and could frequently be seen riding around the yard on one of his many lawnmowers.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 48 years (together for 51), Katrina Shepherd; his son, Eric (wife, Brandi) Shepherd of Bellevue; daughter, Susanna Shepherd (fiance to Tim Schriner) of Willard; grandchildren, Hannah Shepherd, Kadin Shepherd and Hailey Shepherd as well as sisters, Mavis (husband, Joe) Hall of Toledo and Michelle Shepherd (fiance to Bill Featheringill) of Willard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Nancy (Bolen) Shepherd; and his faithful Beagle, Molly.
Calling hours will be on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Marvin's funeral service will be on Friday, April 4, 2025 at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at North Fairfield Cemetery in North Fairfield, Ohio.
