Mary Ann Beierschmitt

Mary Ann (Pianta) Beierschmitt, age 69, a resident of Fairview Manor, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022. Born in Erie on January 15, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Rita (Youngbauer) Pianta.
Mary Ann was a graduate of McDowell High School. She worked in the deli at Wegman's for almost 30 years and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. Mary Ann enjoyed spending time with her family, especially during their annual Thanksgiving get together. Mary Ann was over the moon in love with her grandkids and spoiled them rotten. She enjoyed walks at Presque Isle and a good card game.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Beierschmitt.
She is survived by her daughters, Kelly M. Warner (Kyle) of Harrod, Ohio, and Victoria Beierschmitt (Brandy) of Georgia; grandchildren, Morgan, and Drew Warner, of Harrod, Ohio; brothers, Jim Pianta (Jean), and Jack Pianta (Carol), of Erie; niece Lauren Kluesener (Jeff), and nephew, Andrew Pianta.
Friends are invited to call at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 W. 38th Street at Greengarden Blvd., on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m., and may attend prayers there on Thursday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Salvation Army.
