Mary (Webster) Boring, 73, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. She was born January 10, 1949 to the late Carol (Fox) Webster.
Mary graduated from Harrison High school in 1967. She worked for her uncle George Fox at Andy Steak and Barrel before beginning her career at Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation as a Cafeteria Manager until retiring in 2014. She enjoyed the friendships she made while working at EVSC and working with the children. She enjoyed her time with her family immensely and loved to keep up with extended family through social media and her love of pictures. Mary and her husband loved watching Hallmark movies together and Mary enjoyed spending time with their children and grandchildren, especially while caring for her granddaughters Jade and Trinidy during their younger years. Mary was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Allen Boring; sons, Ben (Christie) Boring and Jon (Jen) Boring; grandchildren, Jade and Trinidy Boring, Amber Zagrodzki, Courtney Slater and Michael Boring, Joshua (Lindsey), Jordan (Brooklyn), Noah, and Abigail Enright; great-granddaughter, Briar Enright; brother, Kenneth (Martha) Smith.
In addition to her mother, Mary was preceded in death by her son, Allen Boring Jr.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., 47714. Funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Robert Reinhardt officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society Indiana Chapter, 5635 N. 96th Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46278.
