Mary Jo always had the most amazing amount of trivia, probably from all the reading she did throughout her lifetime. And she was a fierce opponent when it came to Scrabble.
She was devoted to her parents and was a caregiver to them in their elder years (no easy task, no matter how much love is present!). She also shared that devotion with her other siblings, especially her brother Jamie.
After her death, her brother and I were taking care of her trailer. So many people came to us to express their regrets and tell of her kindness and generosity to her friends and neighbors. Tales of giving rides to work, sharing books, sharing pet experience (her dog Dori was a favorite there), befriending one of the teenage girls there--we loved hearing the stories. She clearly made an impact and difference there.
She will be miss greatly.

I haven't seen Mary Jo in years but what Remember most about her most was that she had a sing song voice that I can still hear in my head. She was always reading. Something that we shared a love for.

Mary Jo was such a kind and wonderful person. I will treasure our times together. O know she is with her precious family now. I look forward to seeing her and so many loved ones in Heaven soon.
