Mary C. Brady

Mary C. Brady, 88, of Yonkers, NY, passed away peacefully at home on November 17, 2025.
Born in Manhattan on May 26, 1937, Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. A longtime resident of Yonkers, she was a beloved presence in the lives of all who knew her.
Mary showed deep compassion and kindness throughout a nursing career that spanned more than 40 years. In the later part of her career, she found special fulfillment working in adult day care, where her warmth and gentle care brought comfort and dignity to those she served.
She was the cherished wife of the late Charles F. Brady, who passed away in 2018. Together, they built a loving home rooted in faith and family. Mary was the proud and loving mother of Charles Brady and his wife, Cathy and Mary Beth Santiago and her husband, Steve.
She was a devoted grandmother to Jacqueline (Nick) Tapalansky, Jennifer Santiago, Charles Brady and Sarah Brady and a loving great-grandmother to Elle Tapalansky.
Mary was a faithful parishioner of St. Ann's Church in Yonkers, where she worshipped for many decades and found strength in her faith.
She will be remembered for her grace, warmth, quiet strength, and the deep love she had for her family.
The family will be present on Wednesday, November 19th from 3:00 - 7:00 PM at Ruggiero & Sons, Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Services - 732 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10704. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 20th at 10:00 AM at St. Ann's Church - College Place & Smart Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10704. Following the Mass, Mary will be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery - 10 W. Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne, NY 10532.
