Brenneman, Mary D. (Saia), 93, Mount Union, passed away Tuesday August 21, 2024, at Celebration Villa Dillsburg. Born December 11, 1930, Mount Union, daughter of the late Frank J. and Catherine (Corda) Saia. Survived by her loving husband of 74 years, William “John” Brenneman; sons, Frank J. Brenneman and wife, Bonnie; Pierre A. Brenneman; and Jon J. Brenneman and wife, Paula; 3 grandchildren, William, Antonio and Ian; 3 step grandchildren, and several step great grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Dell. Preceded in death by brothers, Joseph and Dominic Saia. Mrs. Brenneman was a graduate of Mount Union High School. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Mount Union. She enjoyed cooking and shopping. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family and friends. Family and friends will be received on Monday August 26, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home for a visitation. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday August 27, 2024, at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 203 W Market St, Mt Union, PA 17066, Fr. Joseph Fleming, officiant. Interment to follow at St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Shirleysburg. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
