Larry C. Brenneman

Larry Clayton Brenneman, age 86, of York, passed comfortably in his home on August 20, 2025. He was the loving husband of Shelia (Braun) Brenneman for 66 years. She preceded him in death in September 2024. He was the son of the late Earl Brenneman and Mary (Damey) Brenneman Elfner. Born on September 22, 1938 in West York, he was a member of Saint Paul Lutheran Church in York.

Larry served in the US Army. He was a member of the Viking Club and VFW. Larry worked in a dental lab in his early years and then at Worley Equipment for 43 years retiring as their service manager. His customers had a high level of respect for Larry as he was very intuitive about equipment repairs and very attentive to their needs. Larry was exceptionally skilled at fixing everything. He enjoyed all things outdoors-camping, hunting at the cabin, hiking in the snow, and especially mowing with his pup Bailey on his lap.

Larry loved well and was well loved by his family and friends. He was the father of three, grandfather of five, and great-grandfather of six. His late son Scott had Robert who with wife Ashley has Kaylee, Tristin, and Torey. His son Jay and wife Marguerite have Kelle. His daughter Kim Martin and husband Keith have Katie, who with husband Corty Byron has Cortlan; Christopher who with wife Brooke has Joel and Luke; and Benjamin. The family has total peace knowing he ended well and is now with Jesus and Shelia. They are healed and living in Glory!

A Celebration of Life will take place at Friedensaal Lutheran Church, 9138 White Church Rd., Seven Valleys, PA on Friday, September 5 at 10:00AM. The family will receive relatives and friends from 9:00 – 10:00AM prior to the service at the church. Luncheon to follow.
