Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, George Eugene Snyder, Jr. went swiftly to the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ to receive the gift of the assurance of his faith on Saturday, August, 23, 2025.

Born on April 16, 1945, George was born to George & June Snyder, who later built G&J Valley Farms, in Spring Grove, PA. George, Jr retired from years of loyal service at Sherwin Williams. He was known as a lover and protector of nature, who built and lived in a one of a kind solar home, and was the founder of New Spirit Recycling in the 1970's.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Donna, his children Heather (Urban), April (Conway), her husband Mark, and George E. Snyder, III, his brother Dean and wife Bette, his grandchildren Mercedes and Maxamillian Conway, and many other extended family and friends who will feel the loss of his gentle and loving soul for years to come.

As a believer in Christ, George did not wish for a typical viewing/funeral. He wished instead for everyone to hold to the hope that this is not the end and to celebrate his time here on earth and his entrance into Heaven with joy.

A Celebration of Life will be held, after a suitable period of mourning, and when it can be assured that all of the family is able to be together.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the National Foundation for Cancer Research @ nfcr.com
