Sharon K. (Worley) Gilbert, age 64, of Shiloh, passed away at WellSpan York Hospital on August 19, 2025 after a strong battle with cancer. She was the loving wife of Stephen S. Gilbert.

Sharon was born in Hanover, PA on August 7, 1961 and was the daughter of Clair D. Worley, Jr. and the late Sandra A. Pennewill. She attended West York Area High School and worked as a paralegal for many years for Griest, Himes, Herrold, Reynose who then merged with MPL Law. Sharon enjoyed her work family and often talked about how supportive they were throughout her illness. She was loving to her son and adored all her golden retrievers as if they were her own children. Sharon enjoyed getting together with her family and friends as well as going on trips to the beach and the family cabin in Raystown.

In addition to her loving husband, Sharon is survived by her son Shane Gilbert and fiancé Brie Wallace; her soon to be granddaughter Lexi; her father Clair D. Worley, Jr. and wife Nadine; her sister Sue Brindle and husband Dave; her brother Steve Worley and wife Becky; her nephews Bryce, Dayne, Nicholas, and Caleb; and her niece Madelyn.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a gathering in celebration of Sharon's life on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 2:00PM – 4:00PM at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of Spring Grove, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove, PA 17362.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sharon's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
