Dennis George Brenneman, 83, of Carrollton, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025, after a short battle with cancer. He was born July 22,1942 in Jefferson, Ohio, to the late Alice W.(Davidson) and Glenn L. Brenneman. Dennis was raised by his mother Alice, in Carnegie, Pennsylvania. He spent summers in Carrollton with his father Glenn and enjoyed learning the printing business from the bottom up. Upon graduation from college, he became employed with the Standard Printing Company of Carrollton. In 1966 he accepted a position with the Timken Company in their print division. He eventually managed the print division along with six other divisions within Timken and retired in 1996. He owned several rentals in Carrollton along with the former Carroll Laundromat. He enjoyed Sailing and motor boating at Atwood Lake, collecting coins, and loved history. He was a social member at Atwood Yacht club for 50 years along with the Carroll County Vets Club. He was married to the late Frances (Weir) for 54 years. Together they have one child of the home, Melissa. He is also survived by his brother Allan (Cathy) Brenneman, sister-in-law Mary (Glen) Shaner, brother-in-law David (Becky) Gamble, brother-in-law Orville (Pat) Hartline and numerous nieces and nephews, along with his so loved and spoiled dog Sammy. A private graveside service was held in Westview Cemetery.
