Bryan Hamilton, 68, of Carrollton, lost his 5-year battle with cancer on July 31, 2025, in the Cleveland clinic, surround by his family. He was born on November 6, 1956, in Canton, Ohio. He was the son of Ernest and Mildred (Johnson) Hamilton of Malvern Ohio and brother to Dale (Sue) Hamilton and Roger (Mary) Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his parents, his nephew Ty and sister Ellen Sue Hamilton. He graduated from Malvern High School in 1975, where he was an avid athlete and met his wife, Kathy (King) Hamilton. They were married on August 28, 1976. Bryan was a farmer all of his adult life. He started on the family farm in Malvern and after high school he attended THE Ohio State, where he got his degree in Animal science. He moved to the current farm in Carrollton in 1979, where he raised his three children, Wendy (Adam) Macke, Wesley (Kari) Hamilton and Kyle (Shelby) Hamilton. He taught his children all he knew about farming and the value of working hard. He continued to farm up to the day he went into the hospital. Along with farming, Bryan also owned, and ran, Hamilton Construction LLC, for many years. All of his children, and many of their friends, worked for him. He built and remodeled countless houses in and around Carroll Co. including seven right on the family farm. He also built the new addition and sanctuary for the Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church, where he attended and was a member for over 45 years. Bryan was man of few words, and fewer hugs, but he loved very deeply. He loved is wife, his children and his 8 grandkids – Railey, Reid and Grant Macke, Benjamin, Charles, Emilia, Landri and Myles Hamilton - with all of his heart. Along with his family, he loved his friends, his animals, his farm, deer hunting, playing basketball, John Deere, The Buckeyes, and yes, even the Browns. We will miss him on our Sunday football fantasy league. Bryan loved God and we are comforted knowing that he is in a better place with a new, whole, and healthy body. We just hope there is a farm up there for him. We will be having "A Celebration of Life" open house on Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 2-8 pm at the family farm, 5062 Desert Rd, Carrollton. Join us for food and fellowship. Dress casual, (OSU, Browns or John Deere - if you are also a fan) and please share with us any stories or memories you have of Bryan.

Well..we've lost a great neighbor & friend of many years. In our younger years if we had a project going...many times he would stop 2 see if we need a helping h and. We've had many successful hunting seasons. We have many memories.... such as late night card games....eating sauerkraut at midnight... fire crackers in the woodburner when the kids were sleeping...a chimney fire... a black snake around the microwave....chasing cows......night at the races & there are many more. So to Kathy & Wendy, Wes, & Kyle & their families...we extend to you our sincere sympathy. We love you all.....

Della and I are so sorry for the loss of our brother-in-law. Bryan was a good man and a good example for all that knew him. Him and I did many things together when we were younger. I always thought of him as a younger big brother. We are so sorry for the loss to the Hamilton family and my sister Kathy.
