Mary Angela Brock

BROCK, Mary Angela, passed away surrounded by the love of her family on November 6, 2025, at the age of 83. She was born in Cincinnati, OH, the daughter of the late Angelo and Mary (Mazzaro) LaCortiglia.

She is survived by her loving children Mark (Ann) Agee, Diana (Bob) Grosvenor, Jennifer (Don) Maslyn, Brenda Steelman, Scott Brock, and John Eric (Pamela) Brock. Beloved grandmother to 20. Darling great grandmother to many. Sister of Louis LaCortiglia and Patricia (Skip) Lancaster.

Mary is preceded in death by her loving husband Douglas Brock, her dear first husband Jerome Agee, her son Michael Agee, her daughter Dawn Jones.

Mary An grew up in Fairmount, attended St. Bonaventure Elementary School and then Mercy High School. She had a passion for working with children, becoming a Kindergarten teacher at St. Bonaventure Elementary School and then later in life opening her own Day Care Centers in Sayler Park and North Bend, Ohio. She enjoyed her time living on the Ohio River and then later Lake Cumberland after retiring. She was a kind, loving, generous and compassionate friend, always helping where she saw a need. She was a dear loving mother and cherished her time spent with family. She will be deeply missed and remembered by the countless lives she touched.

Visitation at B.J. Meyer Sons Funeral Home, 5864 Bridgetown Rd., on SATURDAY, November 15, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Jude’s Catholic Church, 5940 Bridgetown Rd, on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 10:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be may to St. Jude’s’s Research Center at 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
