Mary Burchett, age 94, of Harrogate, Tennessee went home to be her Lord and Savior on March 19, 2023. She was born September 9, 1928.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Clarence Burchett, son Mike Burchett and daughter Carolyn Longworth, all of Harrogate, Tennessee, brothers Jessie (Leotta) Yeary of Harrogate, Tennessee and Shelvie Yeary of Tecumseh, Michigan, sisters Hazel (Roy) Sowders of Nasville, Tennessee, Stachie (Burton) Cosby of Mt Washington, Kentucky, Shrelda (Ed) Brayden, Connie (Wheeler) Brown, Lucille (Orbin) Herrell all of Tecumseh, Michigan, Frances (Arnold) Burchett, Onalee (Jimmy) Dalton of Cincinnati, Ohio.
She is survived by her daughter Sandra Vanover of Ewing, Virginia, sons Dennis Burchett and Randy Burchett of Harrogate, Tennessee, 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren, 8 great great great grandchildren, son-in-law Virgil Longworth and daughter-in-law Patsy Burchett.
A special and heartfelt thank you to Claiborne Nursing Home for the wonderful care they provided, and to the Suncrest Hospice staff for all the love, support and care they gave to our mother.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 4:00p.m. until 7:00p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 7:00p.m. at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jodi Moore presiding.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 1:00p.m. at the Burchett Cemetery in Harrogate, Tennessee. Family and friends will meet at Green Hills Funeral Home at 12:15p.m. to follow in procession.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Burchett, Justin Burchett, Brandon Burchett, Mike Killion, Charlie Longworth and Wayne Longworth. Honorary pallbearers are Stevie Longworth and Shelvie Fultz.
Green Hills Funeral Home, Middlesboro, is honored to serve the Burchett Family.
