A devoted member of Oak Forest Church of Christ in Goldsboro, Mary's faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her through both joyous and challenging times. She found great joy in her role as a mother and grandmother, and her legacy lives on through her son, Dale Allen Smith of Greenville, South Carolina; her daughters, Tina (Donald) Everhart of Goldsboro, North Carolina, and Vonnie Smith of Seymour, Tennessee; as well as her four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Each of them carries a piece of her spirit, and they will forever treasure the love and wisdom she imparted.
Mary's warmth and kindness extended beyond her family, touching the lives of many friends and extended family members who will deeply mourn her passing. Her laughter, compassion, and gentle spirit will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
