Evelyn Warden, 91, of Springfield, OH, formerly of Carter County, KY, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at the SOIN Hospital in Kettering, OH. She was born August 12, 1934, in Carter County, a daughter of the late Hartford Alexander Nunley and Nancy Margaret Brown Nunley. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Warden. She is the last of ten brothers and sisters: Five brothers, Fred, Donald, James, Phillip, and Hartford "Junior Nunley; five sisters, Jenny Halterman, Geneva Deal, Doris Barr, Joann Morrison, and Beverly Messmer; a son, Alford "Junie" Wilson; and a grandson, Roger Wilson.
Evelyn was of the Pentecostal faith and had worked for Westinghouse.
She is survived by two grandsons, Daniel and Nick Wilson; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. at the Sparks Funeral Home, Larry Nunley, minister. Burial will follow at a later date..
Visitation will be Saturday, starting at 2:00 P.M. and continuing until the service time.

Evelyn was the best neighbor. We´ve known each other for over 40 years. We planted flower's together and laughed. She loved my kids and always had their pictures in her house. I will miss you
