Mary Lynette Chapin

Mary Lynette Chapin, 69, of Meadville, passed away June 20, 2023 at her residence.
She was born June 19, 1954 in Meadville, a daughter of Ward H. and Mary C. Sheets. She married Ronald H. Chapin, II March 5, 1988.
Lynette was a graduate of Randolph East Mead High School and the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor's degree in physical education. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sports, golfing in her younger years, latch hooking, walking, arts and crafts, and was a former lifeguard.
Lynette was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and former member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors, in addition to her loving husband Ron, include two sons, Chad Chapin (Ashley) of Carlton and Chase Chapin (Amanda) of Jackson Center; a grandson, Cole Chapin; a brother, Dr. David Sheets of Oakland, MD; two sisters, Virgie McKinney (Basil) of Land O' Lakes, FL and Darlene O'Daniels (Edward Brautigam) of New Port Ritchey, FL; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Kathleen McDaniel.
A private funeral service will be at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE with the Rev. Douglas Messerall officiating.
Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
