Mary Cornatzer Obituary
Mrs. Mary Ruth Willard Cornatzer, age 79, of Lewisville, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025. Mrs. Cornatzer was born September 10, 1945 in Rockingham County to the late Calvin Kemp Willard and Sara Estelle Silvers Willard. Mary Ruth was a member of Pinedale Christian Church. She loved the Lord and lived out her faith daily. Mary worked for 37 years as a registered nurse for Bowman Gray/Baptist Hospital. After retiring, she spent her time loving on her family. She is preceded in death by her son, Chad Anderson Cornatzer and a brother, Ken Willard.
Surviving are her husband, Anderson “Woody” Cornatzer; daughter, Jodi Weatherman (Jody); grandaughter Maggie Rogers (Caleb); two grandsons, Tate Weatherman (Savanna) and Kayde Cornatzer; and three great grandchildren, Remi, Laina and Lucas Rogers. Mary has one surviving sister Annette Jansenius (Pete) along with several special neices and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel by Pastor Bill McKenzie. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
