She is survived by her son, Michael Louis Covin (Angela); daughters, Terri Covin Robinson (Alan) and Edith Covin Burroughs (Jody); seven grandchildren Joey Burroughs (Nicholle), Zach Burroughs (Samantha), Katie White (Ben), Joshua Register, Jessica Harmon (Tyler), Jon-Michael Covin, Whitney Heatherly and 16 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Bennie Louis Covin, Mary is predeceased by two brothers, Luther Yates and Harmon Yates.
A funeral service celebrating her life will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Christ Central Community Center in Winnsboro conducted by Rev. Jimmy Burroughs. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Central Ministries or The Good Samaritan House/Winnsboro.
