A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Salem United Church of Christ, 320 NE 141st Ave., Alleman, IA 50007. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Mary Ann will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Tom Schlife; her children, Alex and Edgar; and one cherished grandchild, who brought immense joy to her life.
Her kindness, warm spirit, and the love she poured into her family and friends will be deeply missed but forever treasured.

This month she had mailed me a 2012 letter from my mother, her Aunt, that she (and then I) enjoyed reading hearing her voice in our heads. It was such a nice gesture. I will miss her! These were from her FB.
