Mary Esparza

Mary Esparza, 90, of Gonzales passed away Sunday, September 28, 2025. She was born August 5, 1935 in Gonzales the daughter of Casimiro and Concepcion Esparza. She worked for many years with the Continental Egg Company in Gonzales. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and yard work, music and watching novelas. She cared for her siblings and helped her mother as a homemaker. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was an active member of the Sacred Heart Choir for many years.
She is survived by her brothers Casimiro Esparza and Freddy Esparza both of Gonzales, sisters Natalie Eureste of Gonzales, Guadalupe Esparza and Connie Olmos both of Fort Worth. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Casimiro and Concepcion Esparza; sisters Candelaria Olmos and Rosalinda Esparza; brothers Angel Esparza, Ray Esparza, Ruben Esparza, Joe Esparza, Jesse Esparza, Thomas Esparza, Ascencion Esparza and Armando Esparza.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Seydler-Hill Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. with the Holy Rosary being recited at 7 p.m. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Reverend Jason Martini officiating. Interment will follow at the St. James Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Mathew Eureste, Michael Esparza, Joey Esparza, Casimiro Esparza, Markey Olmos and Oscar Acosta, Jr.
