Mary Rose Fante, 96, of Louisville, entered Eternal Life on Saturday, September 2, 2023.
Mary Rose was born in Louisville to the late Jesse and Mazel Woods. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church for 67 years. Mary Rose was also a member of Silver Bells, Bunco, the Holy Family Altar Sodality, the 50 and Over Club, and the pinochle club.
She preceded in death by her husband, Lamar William Fante; son, Keith Fante; parents; and siblings.
Carrying on Mary Rose's legacy are her sons, Dennis Fante (Robin), Thomas Fante (Mary), and Kevin Fante (Janet); grandchildren, Shawn Fante (Whitney), Jessica Piatt (Bryan), Erica Payton (Cory), Megan Nunn (Trae), Kristen Blankenship (Bobby), Amanda Rose (Wayne), Amber Evridge (Michael), and Alexis Ernspiker; 10 great-grandchildren and one on the way; brother, Thomas Woods; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mary Rose will be from 4-8 PM on Thursday, September 7 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 AM on Friday, September 8 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3938 Poplar Level Road, with burial to take place at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church. Condolences may be shared at Ratterman.com.

I had the privilege of taking care of Mrs. Fante signature and she was the sweetest lady . She always had a kind word. She had bueatifull smile and a kind heart. she is miss by staff and resident's who knew her.
