Mary Frances Frison, 88, passed away in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on April 2, 2025. Mary was born on December 24, 1936, in Cheneyville, Louisiana to her parents, Jack Riggins and Alma Crawford Riggins.
Mary lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado for 20 years. She also resided in Alexandria and Lecompte, Louisiana.
Mary enjoyed crocheting, fishing, gardening, and Bible studying. She also cherished motherhood and loving on her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild. Mary added joy and happiness to the lives of those she encountered.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Riggins and Alma Crawford Riggins; husband, Raymond Frison; son, Derrick Armstead; daughter, Rose Armstead; 6 brothers and 4 sisters.
Mary is survived by her children, Armell Armstead of Honolulu, Hawaii; Donald Armstead of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Daniel Armstead of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Barry Armstead of Denver, Colorado; David Armstead of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Verna Mae Hazel of Thibodaux, Louisiana; Virginia Stelly of San Antonio, Texas; Annette Adams of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Paulette Miller of Pensacola, Florida and Felicia McKim of Ozark, Alabama; 31 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Mary will be deeply missed, but her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all those she impacted.
