Mary was a Licensed Practical Nurse in various hospitals along the East Coast. She retired from the Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community. Mary loved helping others, a trait that led her into nursing. She enjoyed sewing and going to yard sales.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Rebecca, wife of Robert Barnes, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Joseph W. Gallagher.
