Mary Gibson Obituary
A graveside service for Mary Ardell Gibson will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2024, 9:00 a.m. at Meridian Memorial Park with Bro. Jack Kern officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, August 19, 2024, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-Downtown. Webb & Stephens Funeral Homes are honored to be entrusted with arrangements.
Mrs. Gibson, 89, of Meridian, passed away August 15, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Mary Ardell Gibson was born in Lauderdale to Ethel and Ralph Tolbert. Mary loved her family with all her heart. Family was everything to her. She loved watching Gunsmoke and The Kardashians and loved the music of Elvis Presley. She is survived by her children, Howard Gibson Jr. (Monica), Darlene McInnis (Sammy), and George Gibson; grandchildren, Tyler Gibson (Ashley), Lacey Martin (Jeremy), Hope Nolan (Austin), Jessica McKenzie, and Tara Ervin (Trevor); great grandchildren, Brett, Tenley, Hadley, Peyton, Blake, Marley, McKaylin, Hayes, Mason, Ayden, Hunter, and Keleigh; and brother, Gene Estes (Beth).
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 69 years, Howard Curtus “Ray” Gibson Sr. He was the love of her life.
Pallbearers will include Tyler Gibson, Jeremy Martin, Trevor Ervin, Mason Martin, Brett Gibson, and Hunter Moore.
Honorary pallbearers will include Austin Nolan and Sammy McInnis.
