Mary Harvey Obituary
Mary Lee Harvey, 83 of Las Cruces, NM, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2025.
She was born in Albuquerque, NM on February 24, 1942, to Courtney Slack and Martha Weber. Mary dedicated her life to her family and the care of her home.
Devoted to her husband Jack Harvey, Mary was the heart of their household. She raised two children, Lorainne Lee Harvey and Fredell Ray Harvey. Mary delighted in her grandchildren, Joseph Lenger (Sofia), KayLee Lenger-Harvey (Dominic), Megan Harvey-Travis (Jaric), Isis Harvey-Travis, Gabrieal Harvey-Travis and her great grandchildren Eric and Sienna Lenger, Araya Shaw and expected in December 2025 Carter Wayne Brite. Mary enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends. Those who were fortunate to know her enjoyed her humor and saucy attitude.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack and daughter Lorainne. Mary is survived by her son Fredell Ray Harvey, and her grandchildren. Upon the family’s request, no service will be held.
A gathering will be held for family and friends on October 11, 2025 at 2:00pm at 639 King James Ave. Las Cruces, NM 88007.
