Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ferguson Funeral Home - Plain City on Apr. 30, 2025.
Mary Elizabeth Helmuth, age 70, of
Plain City, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, after being cared for by family and friends at home on Hospice Care for four weeks. She was born January 31, 1955 in Marysville, Ohio.
Mary had multiple interests and accomplishments in life. She along with her sister, Lou, opened and ran a restaurant together known as the Farmer's Table, where they made many memories and impacted lives. They also owned a fabric store located in Resaca, Ohio. For over 30 years Mary was a medical assistant and was able to work for multiple physicians three of those being: Dr. John Adams Senior, Dr. John Adams II, and Dr. Gideon King.
Mary loved her family well. She would often visit the various Helmuth families to catch up on their lives and spend time with them. If anyone ever needed anything she was right there willing to help where she could. She was also a great prayer warrior and would diligently pray for people's needs. Mary's grandchildren were so important to her. She especially loved attending all of their sporting events. If there was a game you knew Mary would be there!
Mary was a faithful member of Shiloh Mennonite Church and enjoyed serving on the Food Committee for many years.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents Benjamin and Martha (Hostetler) Helmuth, sister Luella (Helmuth) Nisly, sister-in-law Karen (Beachy) Helmuth, and great-nephew Jordan Hostetler.

Siblings John Helmuth, Kathryn (Eli) Hostetler, Ed (Becky) Helmuth, Lloyd (Margret "Mo") Helmuth, and brother-in-law Wayne Nisly. Along with many nieces and nephews.
