Mary Juanita Holybee, age 92, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022 with her family at her side in Ardmore, Okla. Graveside service will be held at 10:00am, Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Rose Hill Cemetery, Ardmore, Okla. with the Reverend Steve Skinner and Pastor Michael Callaway officiating.
Mary was born in Wellington, KS on December 27, 1929 to Emery Haskins and Flora Lucille (Newman) Haskins. Mary married Oscar Cleo Holybee on August 7, 1948 in Gainesville, Texas. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. Mary loved spending time with her family which was the center of her world.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Oscar Cleo Holybee, Daughter, Brenda Holybee and sons, Ronnie Holybee, and Gerald Holybee, granddaughter, Cindy Holybee, and three grandsons, Patrick Cleo James Holybee, Michael David Holybee and David Allen Holybee, Jr., two great grandsons; Braxton Wade Godwin and John Wesley Skinner, two son in-laws Royce Thurman and Doug Buck Brown and Daughter in-law Corlis Holybee.
Mary is survived by four daughters, Mary Thurman, Judy Brown, Cindy Miller and husband, Tommy, and Christina Holybee, Six sons; Michael Holybee, Virgil Holybee, Alvin Holybee, Buster Holybee and wife Chrissi, David Holybee and fiancé Kendra, and Justin Holybee. Twenty-five grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
Casket bearers will be: Phillip Eggenberg, Tommy Miller, Chris Moore, Brandon Godwin, Scotty Holybee, and Dakota Brown.
Visitation will be 6:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home.
