Corlis Ann Holybee

Corlis Ann (Love) Holybee, age 63, passed away on September 1, 2021, in Ardmore, Okla. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Rose Hill Cemetery with The Reverend Steve Skinner officiating.
Corlis was born on October 23, 1957, to Ted Arvil Love and Margaret "Mae" (Thompson) Love, in Ardmore, Okla. She attended Ardmore Schools. Corlis married Michael Holybee on July 5, 1979 in Gainesville, TX. She went on to receive her GED in 1983 and attended Murray State College for Nursing where she received her Associates Degree. She had many jobs over the years including Tasty Freeze, Taco Burrito, Lake Murray Lodge, Southbrook Nursing Home, and was manager at Burgers and Fries for 22 years. Corlis worked at Cashway Used Cars with her husband while having multiple jobs. She enjoyed listening to her country music, cooking, Sunday family dinners and hanging out with her grandchildren. She and Michael loved to go on drives just to see nature at the lake.
She was preceded in death by her Papa Love, Father, Ted Arvil Love, brother, Teddy Love, sister, Julie Love, and son, Little Mike Holybee.
Corlis is survived by her mother, Mae Love, husband, Michael Holybee, two daughters, Kelly Campbell and son in-law Todd Campbell, and Latricia Grayson, son, Scotty Holybee and wife, Hollie, five grandchildren; Allyssa Campbell, Ehen Campbell, Lynndale Holybee, Lucas Holybee, and Kensley Holybee, sister, Mary Russell, and husband, Steve, one brother, Tom Love and wife, Phyllis, and Corlis's extended family the Holybee's.
Those serving as casket bearers will be; John Debord, Josh Holybee, Shane Holybee, Duston Gray, Eric Frasier and Aaron Berry.
Honorary casket bearers will be; Scotty Holybee, Todd Campbell, Ethen Campbell, Lynndale Holybee, Lucas Holybee, Buster Holybee, and Dakota Brown.
A visitation will be held Monday, September 6, 2021, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home.
