Jeanie departed this earth at the age of 88 on February 18, 2026 in Norman, OK. The youngest daughter

of Henry Neal Baker and Maggie Eunice Henson Baker, she was raised on the

family farm near Pauls Valley and attended school at Union Springs. After graduating from

Valley View Hospital School of Nursing in Ada, she worked in nursing facilities in Stratford

and the hospital and nursing facilities in Pauls Valley. She was the wife of Max Harold

Jacobson.

A compassionate and dedicated caregiver, wife, mother, grandmother and

friend, Jeanie loved flower gardening, fishing and following politics and was Baptist by faith. She had a

special love for animals, especially those who were abandoned.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by sisters; Pauline

Martin, Willie Burns, Oleta and Tansy Baker; brothers Harold, Hewling and Henry Chester

Baker.

She is survived by daughter Jetta Cook of Afton, TN; granddaughter Mandy Wright and

husband Brent of Fort Collins, CO; granddaughter Lani Horiuchi and husband Broc

McKolosky of Spokane, WA; grandson Miles Wright of Fort Collins, CO and

granddaughters Grace and Harper Gill of Spokane, WA. She is also survived by special

friend Judy Dehart.

The family expresses their gratitude to VitalCaring Hospice for the loving care provided to

Jeanie.

Per Jeanie's wishes there will be no formal services. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet

Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Pauls Valley Animal Welfare Society
