Mary Jane BRUNO, 83, of Wellsboro, PA, died Saturday, September 27, 2025 in Broad Acres Health and Rehabilitation Center, Wellsboro.
Born August 10, 1942, in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of Edward Kenneth and Shirley Jane Lattimer Yaeger. A graduate of Cowanesque Valley High School in Westfield, she earned a degree in criminal justice and was employed as a therapist with a police department in Florida. Mary Jane enjoyed playing bingo, euchre, and dancing.
Surviving are: two children, Jenny Painter of Wellsboro and Stephen Bruno of Lancaster, NY; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and friend, Gloria (Gary) Wolfe of Middlebury Center. She was predeceased by a son, Richard P. Bruno; a granddaughter, Madelyn Bruno; and four sisters, Cheryl Stewart, Marilyn Dibble, Carol Fuller, and Joyce Quackenbush.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 26, 2025 at God’s Family Fellowship, 249 Old Tioga Street, Wellsboro, PA.
