Mary Ann Jaramillo

Mary Ann Jaramillo, age 75, a resident of Tome, New Mexico, went home to be with her Heavenly
Father on February 15, 2023. Mary Ann was born in Adelino, NM on July 26, 1947. In 1967 she married
Willie Jaramillo who was a farmer in Tome where they lived out their lives and raised a family. Mary
Ann was married to Willie for 25 years until he passed away in 1992. When Willie passed away, she
worked hard to take care of the family farm. She also went to work as a school bus driver for Los Lunas
Public Schools until she retired in 2011. She was a life-long caregiver for her daughter Debbie, with
whom she had a very special bond with, and they were inseparable. Mary Ann was the sweetest person
who always had a beautiful smile to share with everyone. Mary Ann was passionate about gardening,
farming, cooking and thrift store shopping, but her greatest passion was her family. Mary Ann is
preceded in death by her parents Processo and Rita Lucero, her husband Willie H. Jaramillo, her son
Baby James, her siblings (Querino Lucero, Eurcina Armijo, Dolores Gonzales, Stella Gonzales and Michael
Lucero). She is survived by her daughters Carolyn Lovato (Robert), Sharon Thomas (Chuck), Debbie
Jaramillo and Louise Jaramillo (David Luna), her grandchildren Cody Slama, Ryan Slama, Tyler Thomas,
Jarred Gray and Erica Lovato; her great grandchildren Isaac Blystone and Isablella Slama; her siblings
Flora Eylicio, Manuel Lucero and Mary Lou Lucero. She is also survived by her sister-in-laws, nieces,
nephews, friends and her beloved dog Stewy. Services for Mary Ann will be held at the Immaculate
Conception Church in Tome. Visitation will be at 11:00 am, Rosary at 11:30 am and Funeral Mass will be
at 12:00 pm. Internment will be at the Tome Catholic Cemetery.
