Mary Ann Keegan (nee Braca) entered in to repose on February 8th, 2023. Born on October 21st, 1944 and hailing from the lower east side, canal and pike street, she never left her beloved island of Manhattan later becoming a resident of the upper east side where she lived for 50 years and walked up and down 4 flights of stairs every day. She married Billy Keegan in 1982 and they welcomed their daughter Stefanie in 1984. Billy predeceased Mary Ann in 2002. She worked on Wall Street until her retirement in 2008. She made the most of her retirement with taking up new hobbies like going to the opera, dining out with friends and expanding her social circle. She adopted a cat named Clancy in 2010 who became her constant companion, Stefanie used to joke Clancy was her favorite child.

Becoming a grandma in 2021 was a joy for her and she loved being GrandMary to her granddaughter Clare. She is survived by her daughter Stefanie, son in law Graig Craver, granddaughter Clare Craver. Brother Edward Braca, wife Louise, nieces and nephews Kerry (Michael, daughters Jordan and jade) Edward (Joanne, children Luke and Ava) Jennifer (josh, daughter Hermione) Jaime (Christopher, daughters Allison and Sadie) Christina (Pete). Brother Peter Kinney, his wife Jean, his children MaryLisa and Peter Michael. She remained close with her sister in law Eileen Keegan. She had many more family members who were amused by her humor at family events and many friends who became family to her. Her niece Christina put in to words something that rings true about Mary Ann "she embodies a true New Yorker, proud, resilient, honest and a heart like no other"
