Mary Kleyn Obituary

Mary was a stay-at-home mom and wife to a dairy farmer. She had six children--John, David, Daniel, James, Kathy and Mary Ellen, and she was very happy and blessed by the spouses they chose. She loved and was very proud of all her 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and one on the way. She always remembered all their birthdays!
She enjoyed and took care of keeping the books of the farm business. It was a busy life with cows to milk, crops to grow, and kids to raise.
She was a member of Christian Park Reformed Church (CPRC) where she taught Sunday School. She had a lovely soprano voice and sang in the choir from the age of 14. She was involved with many activities there and after CPRC closed she joined Southminster Presbyterian. She dearly loved her family and church family. Her life was lived committed to her God and Savior.
In her last days, she repeated many times a message for all her grandchildren, their spouses and great grandchildren from Matthew 6:33 (her favorite verse). "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you." Honor Him, live for Him, love Him, and give Him all glory!
Visitation will be from 10:00 – 12:00 on Saturday, September 6 at Wilson St. Pierre, 5950 E. Thompson Road, Indianapolis, IN 46237, with a funeral service immediately following at noon. She will be laid to rest at Orchard Hill Cemetery, 8946 Southeastern Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46239.
