Mary Ann Knoke, age 90, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away October 10, 2024. She was born April 1, 1934, in Altoona, PA, the 8th of 12 children born to the late Wendelin A. and Goldie B. Covey Porta.
Mary Ann and her family moved to York, PA in 1941. She went to Saint Rose of Lima and York Catholic High schools. On August 4, 1951 she married her best friend and husband of 59 years, Charles H.E. Knoke. They moved to Toms River, NJ in 1955 where Charles (Buck) worked for Grimm Brooder Mfg. Co. and relocated to Rogers, AR in 1961 when Grimm Brooder built a plant there.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband Charles on Feb. 28, 2011 and a son, Donald, on Feb. 9, 2017
She is survived by her children, Marjorie AuBuchon, Colorado Springs, CO; Suzanne (Vernon) Cunningham, Rogers; Heidi Hills, West, TX; Annette (Tony) Roller, Rogers; Kevin (Jen) Knoke, Holiday Island; Jennifer (Tony) Southard, Stanardsville, VA; a sister Roseann Martfeld, Rogers; 17 grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren.
A 'Celebration of Life' is being planned at this time.
Her children want to thank 'Jamestown Health and Rehab' in Rogers and 'Circle of Life Hospice Home' in Bentonville for the wonderful, loving care the staff gave our mother while in their care.
