Mary Lane Obituary
Mary Beth Lane, 65, of Sharpsburg, KY died at her home Sunday August 10, 2025.
She was a graduate of Bath County High School and a retired tobacco grader with The U.S. Department of Agriculture. She was a passionate follower of UK Basketball.
Mary Beth was preceded in death by her parents J.W. and Doris Roberts Lane and a brother Clayton Thomas Lane. She is survived by one brother James R. Lane, a sister-in-law Dana Lane, a niece Kayla (Jacob) Hardin, nephew Eric (Audrey) Lane, and great nephews Eli, Hudson and Silas Lane.
She leaves behind two special friends, Nancy Oney and Christopher Crump.
The family wishes to thank Sharon Hegyi for her compassionate care during the final years of Mary Beth’s life.
Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 noon Thursday, August 14, 2025 at the Sharpsburg Christian Church with Pastor Johnny Baber officiating.
Burial will follow at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Sharpsburg.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM - 12 noon on Thursday.
Pallbearers include, Eric Lane, Eli Lane, Christopher Crump, Walter Shrout, Gary McCowan and Jacob Hardin.
Honorary Pallbearers include, Kayla Hardin, Nancy Oney, Sharon Hegyi and Kenny Stull.
Contributions are suggested to the Sharpsburg Christian Church.
