Mary Ann Langelle, a beacon of love and selflessness, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2024, in Bordentown, NJ, at the age of 77. Born on June 8, 1947, in Brooklyn, NY.
Throughout her life, Mary Ann dedicated herself to her family and community. Professionally, she was a respected Grant Writer for Village Resources, where her contributions significantly impacted the lives of many. For 10 years, Mary Ann was a softball coach for her daughters at West Shore Little League, and was loved by all her players. She enjoyed watching the New York Giants, the Jets & was a lifelong Mets fan.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Dawn Tierno Culda, Laura Ann Tierno, and Danielle Arena, as well as her cherished son, John Tierno; Mary Ann was blessed with 7 grandchildren Matthew Culda, Gabriel Culda, Sydney Westcott, Anthony Arena, Adrianna Westcott, Christopher Arena & Nicholas Arena; Beloved Aunt to Peter Tierno and Christina Mamakas; Great Aunt to Skylar Maialo, Chelsea Mamkas and Luca Tierno; Beloved Godmother to Gina Mirabelli, and loved by many, many cousins. Her unwavering support and care for her family were the hallmarks of her life.
Mary Ann is predeceased by her late husband Eugene Langelle, her first husband and father of her children John Tierno, and both of her parents Frank Molinari and Anne Gershowitz, as well Bob Gershowitz and Buddy Brow.
Mary Ann's legacy of love and kindness will continue to live on through the countless lives she enriched. Her memory will be forever cherished by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She loved Boston and spent many days on Walden Pond contemplating the writings and poetry of Henry David Thoreau. She loved nature and was strongly influenced by his Transcendentalist philosophy and naturalist beliefs. Visitation to be held on Monday, September 9th, 2024 from 2:00PM - 4:00PM & 6:00PM - 8:00PM, and again on Tuesday, September 10, from 9:30-10:00AM, at the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, 517 Farnsworth Ave, Bordentown, NJ.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 10th, 2024 at 10:30AM, at Mary, Mother of the Church Parish, 45 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ.
Graveside Burial will be held Tuesday, September 10th, 2024 at 1:30pm at Moravian Cemetery, 2205 Richmond Rd, Staten Island, NY.
