Mary Marsh Obituary

Mary was born in New Alexandria, PA, on April 1, 1931.
She married William P. Marsh in 1949 and lived a full and happy life devoted to family. She instilled a life of love and independence in her eight children. Her kindness and quality family life endeared her to many. Mary will be remembered for her fashionable clothes, albeit with a touch of glam, and her love of old movies. Her red velvet cake and apple pie were favorites among both family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William P. Marsh, their son, Roger M. Marsh, daughter-in-law, Joyce Marsh, and son-in-law, Lon Extract. She is survived by her children: Kathleen Marsh from Mariposa, CA, William (Brenda) Marsh from Golden, CO, Richard (Mary Lou) Marsh from Mars, PA, Lolly Extract from Chicago, IL, Mary Marsh Jaffe (Doug) from Latrobe, PA, Jonathan Marsh from Mariposa, CA, Robert (Bev) Marsh from Norvelt, PA; and her grandchildren: Travis (Alycia) Marsh, Ryan (Katie) Marsh, Jessica Marsh, Nathan Marsh, Laine (Luis) Rodriguez, Amber Marsh, Jonathan Extract, Jordan (Holly) Jaffe, Michael (Lacey) Marsh, Drew (Kassie) Marsh, Adam Marsh; and nine great grandchildren: Mireya, Addison, Lumina (LuLu), Leo, Loukas, Vivian, Theodore, Maren, and Emma, who will all carry on her legacy. We, family and friends, will forever cherish the memory of her giving love and strength so freely to us all.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass at 9:30 AM on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg. Interment will follow at St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mary's name to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements are being handled by the Lopatich-Brinker Funeral Home, LLC, Latrobe. For online condolences, please visit www.lopatichbrinker.com.
