Mary enjoyed working in her flower garden, especially with her irises. She could be counted on by the family to be the babysitter for her grandchildren. Mary was a member of the Apostolic Assembly Church and was a lady with a strong faith.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard (Ondrea) Marshall, Jr., Joseph (fiancée, Kaley Faubus) Marshall, and Joshua (Bethany) Marshall, all of Hutchinson; fiancé, Francisco Ramos of Hutchinson; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and siblings, Lydia Hernandez, Martha Garcia, Margaret Weathers, Maria Garcia, Joe (Rachel) Garcia, Michael (Nancy) Garcia, and Alex Solis.
Mary was preceded in death by: her parents; son, Shon D. Garcia; grandson, Gabriel Marshall; and siblings, Rosalinda Cross and Isabel Garcia.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Elliott Mortuary, with Deacon Todd Ray officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Eastside Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday at Elliott Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Apostolic Assembly Church, Hutchinson, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
