I want to give my thoughts and condolences to Kathy's family and her many friends. We were friends many years ago and we grew apart. We both agreed that even if we did not communicate or see each other for a long time, we would still be friends. Sadly, I have thought about her for the past several months and wanted to get in touch. Even sadder, when I tried to find her, I saw her obituary. I know we should keep in touch with our dear friends but...
Kathy always welcomed me in her home even when I showed up unexpectantly. While I have much to grieve, I have many great memories. Rest in peace, Kathy. You are missed.

How do I say goodbye to a lifelong friend? When we were in our twenties, we laughed at our stupid mistakes - sometimes dangerous, sometimes just stupid. But your laugh was always contagious - one I can never forget. I love you, Kath.
I wonder now how many nights we spent playing Euchre at your kitchen table and having to wake up early the next morning to go to work. Or the hours on end that we spent in my apartment singing and laughing and sharing our thoughts. I never knew how precious those hours were. I remember, too, the vacations we went on together, too many to write about here.
You have always been my constant. How do I say goodbye? I love you, Kath. Through the thick and thin of it all, I love you.
Perhaps we'll meet again and this goodbye will prove just words, a lament with no purpose. And when we meet, we'll know and we'll begin where we left off. I love you

My deepest condolences! Kath was such a sweet person. Always first to greet with a smile! May she rest in peace!
