Mary Ann Morgan (Spurs), 87, of Levittown, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on October 4th, 2025. Heaven gained its greatest angel.
Mary Ann was born on June 17th, 1938 in Brownsville, PA where she met her high school sweetheart, Alex (Toots), after a football game. They shared a wonderful 60 years of marriage. She was named "Ms. Brownsville" her senior year of high school and has always been the life of the party. She was welcoming, caring and kind to anyone she encountered. Mary Ann attended nursing school at Washington Hospital and spent most of her career at Lower Bucks Hospital where she was a well respected E.T. Nurse. She received the "Dee Brown Lifetime of Service Award", "Employee of the Year", and served as a Registered Nurse at LBH for 41 years. Her entire life was encompassed by caring for others; whether they were her patients, family or friends. Mary Ann was a faithful member of Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church and she devoted her life to Christ. She cherished nothing more than her family, most notably her grandchildren and great grandchildren who she had the upmost pride in. She loved her friends and neighbors dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Petrick and Anna Pope, sister, Olga Mae Spears, husband, Alex Morgan, and son, Jon Morgan. She is survived by her brother, Frank Petrick; daughter, Kristin Castelberg (James); grandchildren Lauren Barone (John), Jacob Morgan (Rebecca), Jenna Castelberg and James Castelberg (Samantha); and great grandchildren Sage and Kai.
Family and friends are invited to attend her Life Celebration on Saturday October 11th from 9 am to 11 am at Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church 1314 Randall Ave. Levittown, PA, where her Funeral Liturgy Service will begin at 11AM. Interment is Private. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, a place that was near and dear to Mary Ann's heart.
