Mary Lou (Race) Nolan
October 17, 1927 - May 29, 2025
MEXICO, NY-Mary Lou (Race) Nolan, 97, of Mexico, NY; passed away on May 29, 2025; surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Hospice. Mary was born in Syracuse to the late Martin and Vera Stowell Race. Mary was a stay-at-home mother raising her nine children. She loved bingo, lawn sales and spending time with her huge family.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Joseph Nolan; her daughter, JoAnn Tanner; her son, Burton Nolan; her sister Enid Stacy and her brothers Charles, Tom, Dave, Bob, Kenny, Martin and Jack Race.
Mary is survived by her children, Vera Bowen of North Carolina, Mike (Doreen) Nolan of Parish, Joe Nolan of Parish, Jimmy (Linda) Nolan of Baldwinsville, Marti (Ronnie) West of Mexico, Enid Nolan (Danny) Plyer of North Carolina, Kenny (Barb) Nolan of Cato; her brothers, James Race of Parish and Gerry (Gloria) Race of Cleveland along with several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Per Mary's wishes there will be No Services. Arrangements are in care of Harter Funeral Home, Inc. Parish, NY.
