In Loving Memory Valerie A. Brown December 3, 1935 - January 1, 2025 BRUNSWICK, GA- Valerie A. Brown, 89, of Woodbine, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at the Southeast Georgia Health System hospital in Brunswick, Georgia.Born in Ogdensburg, NY on December 3, 1935, Valerie was the daughter of the late Gerald and Winona Walcott. She enjoyed baking bread and making homemade muffins to give to various friends and family throughout the year and especially during the holidays. She volunteered at the Pulaski Wesleyan Church in Pulaski, NY and Midler Ave Wesleyan Church in Syracuse, NY. She went to work for the U. S. Postal Service and retired in 1991. She enjoyed traveling and visiting longtime friends and family throughout the United States. In her later years she loved doing crossword and dot to dot puzzles.Survivors include her daughters Cathy Munroe (Jim) of Angier, NC, Cyndy Revette (Doug) of Parish, NY and Carmen Brown of Woodbine, GA and her brother Peter Walcott (Kris) of Syracuse, NY. Also included are five grandchildren: Alex, Becky, Chris, Bailee and Kiylee and six great grandchildren: Kaylyn, Jayden, Antwan, Caylee, Donnie and Harper.She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Brown, and her brothers Clifford, David, and Joel Walcott (Janet).A Celebration of Life service will be held at Christ Church Camden in Kingsland, Georgia on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 4 p.m. Interment arrangements will be at a time to be announced, with burial taking place in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery Parish, NY.
